CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.a-
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY
OF TAMARAC; REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
THE HEREIN ANNEXED LANDS; REPEALING ALL ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SAVINGS
CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands are contiguous
to the present boundaries of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, said lands contain less than ten registered
voters, and
WHEREAS, the owners of said lands have petitioned the
City of Tamarac to integrate said lands into the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously, by Ordinance,
declared its intent to annex said lands, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously instructed
the City Clerk and the City Clerk has advertised the intent
of the Council to annex said lands at least thirty days prior
to the passage of this Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is empowered to annex
said lands by its Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL of the
City of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: The following described lands, be and the
same are hereby annexed to the City of Tamarac:
A portion of Sections 4 and 5, Township 49 South, Range 41 East,
Broward County, Florida, being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 5; thence
N-00 10' 05" - 17, along the East line of said Section 5, a
distance of 3245.93 feet; thence West, a distance of 492.08
feet to the Point of Beginning of this description; thence
continuing West, a distance of 1114.96 feet to a Point of
Curve; thence Westerly and Northerly, along the arc of a cir-
cular curve to the right, having a radius of 25 feet, an arc
distance of 33.42 feet to a Point of Compound Curve; thence
continuing Northerly, along the arc of 'a circular curve to
the right, having a radius of 2000 feet, an arc distance of
635.24 feet; thence East, a distance of 1015.46 feet to an
intersection with the arc of a circular curve to the right,
having a radius of 540 feet; thence Easterly, along the arc
of said curve, whose radius point bears 5-660 1.6' 1.00 - E, �
from the last described'point, an'.arc distance of 2667.38
feet to the Point of Beginning.

All of Tracts 11 and 12 and the North 5 feet of Tracts 13, 14
and 15, of FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS SUDDIVISXON of Section
12, Township 49 South, Range 41 East, as recorded in Plat Book
4, Page 31, of the Public Records of Broward County, F16rida.
AND also:
All that part of Tract 10 of FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS SUB-
DIVISION of Section 12, Township 49 South, Range 41 East, as
recorded in Plat nook 4, Page 31, of the Public Records of
Broward County, Florida, lying West of and adjacent to the
platted West Boundary of POMPANO PARK SECTION 3, as recorded
in Plat Book 55, Page 20, all in the Public Records of Broward
County, Florida.
AND alsoethat portion of Tract 10 of FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK
FARMS SUBDIVISION described as follows:
BEGINNING at the S. W. corner of said Tract 10; thence North 10 T /
�,_._.. 03' West along the West line of said Tract 10,. a distance of f/
163.76 feet; thence due East a distance of 165.83 feet; thence
duo South a distance. of 163.73 feet to a point on the South
line of said Tract 10.; thence South 89° 59' 49" West along
the said South line a"distance of 162.83 feet to the Point of ,-
Beginning. -
SECTION 2: That the boundary lines and the corporate
limits of the City of Tamarac are hereby redefined to include
the aforedescribed lands.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk is hereby instructed to cause
a certified copy of this Ordinance of annexation to the City
of Tamarac to be filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court in
and for Broward County, Florida.
SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 5: Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or any portion hereof, or any paragraphs, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than
0
the part declared to be invalid.
