WHEREAS, Section 124 of the City Charter'of the City of Tamarac authorizes amendments.to the City Charter of 1 Z the City of Tamarac upon submission by the Charter Board and approved by the City Council, and WHEREAS, both of such bodies have approved the amend- ment which is the subject matter -of this Ordinance and deem the same to be desirable. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of Tamarac, Florida: ..SECTION 1: That the amendment to Article III Section 11 of the City Charter relating to Pensions attached hereto and marked Charter Board Proposed Amendment No. 4 be and the same is hereby adopted and made a part of the City Charter of the City of Tamarac, Florida. Pensions To provide for life and/or disability insurance for its non -elective executive officers, non -elective officers and/or employees on a group insurance plan approved by the Council, and to pay such portions of the premium or premiums thereon as said Council by resolution may determine; and to establish and create'by ordinance a pension, annuity or retirement system for any or all groups of non -elective executive officers or non -elective officers or employees employed by said City." f . al A.
