AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO
SECTION 11 OF ARTICLE III
OF THE CITY CHK R OF THE MY OF TAMARAC
RELATING TO SUBDIVISION PLATS
CMMTER BUM HE CITY OF TAMARAC AND
APPROVAL BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION
124 OF THE CITY CHARTER OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, Section 124 of the City Charter of the City
of Tamarac authorizes amendments to the City Charter of
the City of Tamarac upon submission by the Charter Board
and approved by the City Council,.and
WHEREAS, both of such bodies have approved the amend-
ment which is the subject matter -of this Ordinance and deem
the same to be desirable.
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida: w
SECTION 1: That the amendment to Article III
Section 11 of the City Charter relating to
Subdivision Plats attached
hereto and marked Charter Board Proposed Amendment Noe 2 ., 4-1"
be and the same is hereby adopted and made a part of the

City Charter of the City of Tamarac, Florida.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall become effective im-
mediatelyupon its final passage.

AMENDMENT #2 TO THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC
ARTICLE III, SECTION 11, of the City Charter of the City
of.Tamarac is hereby amanded to read as follows:
"w. Subdivision Plats
To regulate the subdividing, resubdividing, platting or
replatting of,all lands within the City, to regulate the minimum
width of streets, sidewalks, alleys, residential lots and
building lots upon such plats; to require the dedication of
parks, playgrounds, waterways, canals, lakes, yacht basins and
other bodies of water when deemed necessary; to require the
construction of sea walls and retaining walls on residential
lots and building lots fronting or abutting upon waterways,
canals, lakes, and other bodies of water when deemed necessary;
to require the construction of all necessary public streets and
sidewalks and the installation of all necessary public utilities,
water, electricity and sanitary sewerage facilties before any
lots in such subdivision shall be sold; and to make and enforce
reasonable rules and regulations pertaining to subdivisions."
