WHEREAS, Section 124 of the City Charter of the City

of Tamarac authorizes amendments to the City Charter of

and approved by the City Council, and

WHEREAS, both of such bodies have approved the amend--

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE

AMENDMENT #12 TO THE CHARTER OF THE_CITY OF VLMARAC
ARTICLE VI, SECTION 35 of the City Charter of the City of
Tamarac is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 35. SALARIES
The Council shall fix the salary or compensation of the
City Manager, the City Attorney, and the Municipal Judge; the
City Manager shall recommend to Council for their approval
the number and compensation of all.other officers and em-
ployees, excepting, however, from the term officers, any
elected official. Said salaries or compensation so fixed
shall be uniform for like service in each grade of the City
service as the same shall be graded or classified by the City
Manager. All advisory boards,.commissions and offices shall
serve without pay."
