WHEREAS, Section 124 of the City Charter of the City

of Tamarac authorizes amendments.to the City Charter of

WHEREAS, both of such bodies have approved the amend-
ament which is the subject matter•of this Ordinance and deem
the same to be desirable.

SECTION 1: That the amendment to Article VII

AMENDMENT L-13 TO THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF TAMAR.AC
ARTICLE VII, SECTION 40 (n) of the City Charter of the
City of Tamarac 'is hereby amended to read as follows:
"n. Issue all checks for the payment of money by the .
City, and only to the extent that there are monies to the
credit of the fund or specific appropriation to be debited
for such payment; or at the request of the City Manager the
City Council shall from time to time appoint by resolution
an alternate member of the staff who shall thereby be
authorized to issue all checks for the payment of money
by the City for the period of time and under the conditions
set forth in said resolution."
