AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO
SECTION 11 c OF ARTICLE III
OF THE CiTY CHARTER OF THE MY OF-MIARAC
RELATING TO OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES
t UPON SUBMISSION BY THE
A HE CITY OF TAMARAC AND
APPROVAL BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION
124 OF THE CITY CHARTER OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, Section 124 of the City Charter of the City
of Tamarac authorizes amendments to the City Charter of
the City of Tamarac upon submission by the Charter Board
and approved by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, both of such bodies have approved the.amend-
ment which is the subject matter -of this Ordinance and.deem
the same to be desirable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the amendment to Article III
Section 11. (c) of the City Charter relating to Or,-
cupational Licenses attached
hereto and marked Charter Board Proposed Amendment No. 7
be and the same is hereby adopted and made a part of the
City Charter of the City of Tamarac, Florida.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall become effective im-
mediately upon its final passage.

AMENDMENT fL7 TO THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC
ARTICLE III, SECTION 11 (c) of the City Charter of the City
of Tamarac is hereby amended to read as follows:
"c. Occupational Licenses
To license and tax any and all businesses, occupations and
professions engaged in or carried on in offices or places of
business within the corporate limits of the City; to classify
and define such businesses, occupations and professions for
the purpose of imposing Occupational License taxes or fees.".
