CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 73-42
BY AMENDING SECTION 2, 3 and 3A TO PROVIDE
FOR THE ADDITIONAL REVIEW OF ALL REQUIRED
SITE PLANS BY THE ZONING COMMISSION;
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE REPEALING ALL
LAWS IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of Tamarac,
SECTION 1: That Ordinance 73-42 of the City of
Tamarac, Section 2 thereof is hereby amended to read as follows:
"That this Ordinance shall also establish additional
standards for site plans required by the various
zoning classifications, Beautification Ordinance
No. 72-5, Off -Street Parking Ordinance No. 71-95
the City's Thoroughfare Plan, the Area Planning Board's
Traffic -Way Plans, and the County Engineers' Secondary
Road Program. Each of the foregoing, where applicable
to a specific site plan, shall be considered by the Chief
Inspector, the City Planner, the City Engineer, the Zoning
Commission and the City Council, in recommending or
approving a site plan. A proposed site plan shall be
further evaluated in terms of the traffic impact the pro-
posed site plan will have in the immediate area."
SECTION 2: That Section 3 of Ordinance 73-42 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"That site plans as required herein shall be examined
by the Chief Building Inspector, and the City Planner, the
City Engineer, the Zoning Commission and approved by the
City Council, prior to issuance of a building permit."

SECTION 3: That Section 3A of Ordinance 73-42 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"The Zoning Commission shall consider the site
plan at a public meeting and shall thereupon
recommend to the City Council approval or dis-
approval of such site plan. Not less than 7
calendar days prior to the site plan coming before
the City Council at a public meeting, the site
plan shall be posted on the bulletin board in
City Hall, in order that the public may have the
opportunity to review the site plan, and call to
the attention of the City Council at the public
hearing, the violation of any City Ordinance by
the site plan.
SECTION 4: In all other respects, Ordinance 73-42 is
hereby ratified and approved
SECTION 5: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, word or
sentence be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remainder hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 6: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 7: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
