ORDINANCE NO. -- "I
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO
SECTION 95 OF ARTICLE XIV
OF THE MY CRT R OF THE MY OF=AMARAC
RELATING TO COUNCIL ACTION ON CAPITAL
PROGRAM , UPON HE CITY OFLTAMARAC AND
APPROVAL BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION
124 OF THE CITY CHARTER OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC.
WHEREAS, Section 124 of the City Charter of the City
of Tamarac authorizes amendments to the City Charter of
the City of Tamarac upon submission by the Charter Board
and approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, both of such bodies have approved the.amend-.
ment which is the subject matter -of this Ordinance and deem
the same to be desirable. VCC
NOW, THEREFORE$ BE IT ORDAINED BY.THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the amendment to Article XIV

AMENDMENT #23 TO THE CHARTER Or 7HE, CITY OF TAMARAC
ARTICLE XIV, SECTION 95 of the City Charter of the City of
Tamarac is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 95. COUNCIL ACTION ON CAPITAL PROGRAM
The Council shall publish in one or more newspapers of
general circulation in the City the general, su. nary of the
capital program and a notice stating: the times and places
where copies of the capital program are available for in-
spection by th4 public, and the time and place, not less
than two (2) weeks after such publication, for a public
hearing on the capital program, the Council by resolution
shall adopt the capital program with or without amendment
after the public hearing and on or before the 30th day of
September of.the fiscal year."
