Temporary Ordinance No. 47
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PLATTING REGULATIONS
ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 71-22 OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC BY PROVIDING ADDITIONAL CRITERIA FOR
REQUIRING DRAINAGE EASEMENTS; REQUIRING THAT
ALL DRAINAGE EASEMENTS BE SHOWN ON THE PLAT;
BY DELETING THE PROVISION FOR ZONING COMMISSION
WAIVER OF PUBLIC STREET REQUIREMENTS; CONTAINING
A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; REPEALING ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT; AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 3C. B. of the Platting Regulations
adopted by Ordinance No. 71-22 of the City of Tamarac are amended
by adding thereto the following sub -paragraph:
(12) Location and width of all existing or proposed
drainage easements as required by Section 4. A. 15. hereof.
SECTION 2: That Section 4. A. 15. of the Platting Regulations
adopted by Ordinance No. 71-22 of the City of Tamarac be amended
by adding thereto the following sub -paragraph:
d. Such shall be required if necessary to tie into the

City drainage plan and/or/ drainage district plan as certified
to by the City Engineer and/or the drainage district engineer.
SECTION 3: That Section 4.A.8.of the Platting Regulations
adopted by Ordinance No. 71-22 of the City of Tamarac be amended
to read as follows:
"8. PRIVATE STREETS. There shall be no private streets
platted in a subdivision. Every subdivided lot or parcel
shall be served from a publicly dedicated street."
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance
or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence, or word be
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to

be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof,
other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5 : All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6 : This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its .final passage.
