AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 72-46
BY ADDING TWO NEW SECTIONS THERETO, PRO-
VIDING A COST--OF-JOB PERMIT SCHEDULE AND
CABLE PERMIT SCHEDULE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary upon the
recommendation of the Building Department to require a permit and
a fee therefor for alterations to existing structures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 72-46 be amended by
adding thereto Section 5 and Section 6, as follows:
Section 5: That the Building Department of
the City of Tamarac be and it is herebyinstructed
to collect the following fees established for the
obtaining of certain permits required to be issued prior
to initiation of construction, development or other
improvements; said fee schedule as follows:
RATE SCHEDULE FOR CABLE PERMIT
0,000 to less than. 1,000 lin. feet $12.00
1,000 & over plus each additional
500 lin. feet $ 4.00
Tower As per rate schedule
Footing As per rate schedule
Section 6: That prior to initiation of con-
struction of an alteration or addition to then --existing
structure, the person, firm or corporation desirous of
performing said construction shall be required to obtain
a permit from the Building Department and upon the taking
of such a permit shall be required to pay a fee as follows:
BASED ON COST OF JOB
$ 0.00 to less than $100.00
Fee of $ 5.00
$ 100.00 to less than $500.00
Fee of $ 9.00
$ 500.00 to less than $1,000.00
Fee of $12.00
$1,000.00 to less than $1,500.00
Fee of $15.00
$1,500.00 to less than $2,000.00
Fee of $17.50
For each additional $500.00
in cost of job, add a fee of
$2.00.
Section 2: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3: All other portions of Ordinance No. 72-46
shall remain in full force and effect.
