ORDINANCE NO. r 49
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #71-24
BY REPEALING SECTION 3, SUBSECTION A,
AND ADDING A NEW SECTION 3, SUBSECTION
A, REGARDING VIOLATIONS AFTER NOTICE
TO THE OWNER OR OCCUPANT FOR REFUSAL OR
NEGLECT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE;
REPEALING ALL LAWS IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING
A SAVINGS CLAUSE
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
City of Tamarac, Florida:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 71-24 of the City of Tamarac
is hereby amended by deleting Section 3, Subsection A thereof.
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. 71-24 is hereby amended
by adding thereto the following new Section 3, Subsection A:
"SECTION 3: Violations:
a. Should any owner, agent or person having charge
of or occupying
any
lot or premises
covered
by this
ordinance refuse
or
neglect, for a
period of
seven (7)
days after receiving notice from the City of any violation
of this ordinance, fail to cure such violation, the
City may act to cure such violation without further
notice."
SECTION 3: In all other respects the provisions of
Ordinance No. 71-24 of the City of Tamarac shall remain in full force
and effect.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word
be declared by a court of competent jursidiction to be invalid, such
decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as
a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be
invalid.
SECTION 5: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
