AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE RE- ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM B-1 TO R-4A; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the zoning of the prop- erty described herein, and the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been, heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the Zoning Commission of the City of Tamarac, and WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on the pro- posed change in zoning initiated by the Zoning Commission of the City of Tamarac pursuant to the master land use plan of the City of Tamarac by the City Council pursuant to the Charter, and WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission has recommended to the City Council that the said zoning changes be approved after public hearing thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That those lands described as follows are hereby rezoned from B-1 classification to R-4A classification: A portion of Tract 1, of FORT LAUDERDALE TRUCK FARMS SUBDIVISION of Section 9, Township 49 South, Range 41 East, as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 31, of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 9; thence N. 89001'50"W., a distance of 53.01 feet; thence S. 0° 00'56" E., a distance of 53.01 feet to the point of beginning of this descrip- tion; thence continue S.0100156"E., a 1 1 distance of 200 feet; thence N.890 01'50"W., a distance of 200 feet; thence N.0000156"W., a distance of 200 feet; thence S.89101'50"E., a distance of 200 feet to the point of beginning. Said lands situate, lying and being in Broward County, Florida. (Otherwise identified as being the Southwest corner of intersection of McNab Road and University Drive; a two hundred foot by two hundred foot parcel. SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning, said change to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conf list.
