CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING
ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE RE-
ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM
B-1 TO R-4A; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT
OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT
SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City
Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has
been given in accordance with the applicable law of the time
and place of public hearing regarding the zoning of the prop-
erty described herein, and the said public hearing has been
held in accordance with the notice and the public has been
given an opportunity to be, and has been, heard; and the
Council has examined and investigated the request for the
zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the
Zoning Commission of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on the pro-
posed change in zoning initiated by the Zoning Commission
of the City of Tamarac pursuant to the master land use plan
of the City of Tamarac by the City Council pursuant to the
Charter; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission has recommended to
the City Council that the said zoning changes be approved
after public hearing thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That those Lands described as follows are
hereby rezoned from B-1 classification to R-4A classification:
A portion of Tract 1, of FORT LAUDERDALE
TRUCK FARMS SUBDIVISION of Section 8,
Township 49 South, Range 41 East, as
recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 31, of the
Public Records of Broward County, Florida,
being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of
said Section 8; thence N.88059110"W.,
a distance of 53.01 feet; thence S.00
O1'37"E., a distance of 53.01 feet to
the Point of Beginning of this descrip-
tion; thence continue S.0001137"E., a
distance of 200 feet; thence N.88059110"
W., a distance of 200 feet; thence N.
0101'37"W., a distance of 200 feet;
thence 5.88059'10"E., a distance of 200
feet to the Point of Beginning. Said
lands situate, lying and being in
Broward County, Florida.
(Otherwise identified as being the South-
west corner of McNab Road and N.W. 88th
Avenue; a two hundred foot by two hundred
foot parcel.)
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the
City of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect this change of
zoning, said change to be initialed by the Mayor and the City
Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
