AN ORDINANCE, COMPLYING WITH CHAPTER
71-575, FLORIDA STATUTES, AND ADOPTING
TIIE SOUTH FLORIDA BUILDING CODE 1973
BROWARD EDITION AS THE BUILDING CODE
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, AND PROVIDING
THAT THE SAID BUILDING CODE IN BOOK
FORM, AS AMENDED, SHALL GOVERN THE
CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND
CONDEMNATION OF BUILDINGS IN THE CITY
OF TAMARAC; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,

SECTION 1: That pursuant to Florida Statutes
Chapter 71-575, Laws of Florida, the 1973 Broward Edition
of the South Florida Building Code, as amended, in book
form, is hereby adopted by reference as the building code
of the City of Tamarac, and its regulations shall govern
the construction, maintenance, repair and condemnation of
buildings in the City of Tamarac. The said Broward County
1973 Edition of the South Florida Building Code is adopted
with the provision that all amendments to the Code after
the effective date of this Ordinance shall automatically
be adopted by the City of Tamarac unless otherwise specifi-
cally provided for by subsequent Ordinance of the City of
Tamarac.
SECTION 2: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
