CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. `1(o - t 5
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 75-26
BY PROVIDING CITY COUNCIL WITH THE RIGHT
TO WAIVE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS ORDINANCE FOR
ANY CHARITABLE, NONPROFIT OR OTHER ELEEMOS-
YNARY ORGANIZATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECITVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 11 g. of the Charter of the City of
Tamarac grants the City the power to regulate and control the use
and occupancy of the waters, waterways, water bottom, in the City, and
WHEREAS, in furtherance of protecting the public's health,
safety, and welfare, the City Council of the City of Tamarac deemed it
advisable to establish and provide regulations concerning the use and
operation of boats or vessels within the waters and waterways of the
City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
has determined the necessity for revising this Ordinance No. 75-26 to
include charitable, nonprofit or other eleemosynary organizations.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1: The City Council shall have the right
to waive the requirements of Ordinance #75-26, for good cause shown,
for any charitable, nonprofit or other eleemosynary organization
seeking to conduct or hold aquatic exhibition on said City lakes,
waters, waterways, water bottoms.

SECTION 2: This Ordinance becomes effective
immediately upon its final passage.
