CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO._ (p- -2J_
AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING THE PENSION PLAN
ADOPTED AND ACCEPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC ON AUGUST 14, 1975,
AND ESTABLISHING A TRUST AS THE MECHANISM
FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF SAID PENSION PLAN
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC WITH THE EQUITABLE
LIFE ASSURANCE SOCIETY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac
on the 14th day of August, 1975, accepted a Pension Plan by
Resolution No. 75-94, and
WHEREAS, it now appears to be in the best interest
of the City to provide for the implementation of said plan by
entering into a Trust Agreement and providing for the selection of
local trustees, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate officials to
execute the contract with the insurer.
NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

That the City Council of the City of Tamarac
hereby confirms the adoption of the Pension Plan accepted by
Resolution No. 75-94 dated August 14, 1975.

The said Pension Plan shall be administered by
three trustees pursuant to a Trust Agreement which said Trust Agree-
ment shall be approved by and executed on behalfof the City of Tamarac
by the Mayor
and the City Manager and shall provide that the Trustees shall be
the Mayor, the City Manager, and an employee designated by the City
Council.
SECTION 3:
The Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized
to execute the contract with Equitable Life Assurance Society on
behalf of the City of Tamarac.
