CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 76 - 23
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO.
76-9, RELEASING A MORATORIUM ON
ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS IN
WESTWOOD COMMUNITY VI, SECTION 24,-
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac
adopted Ordinance No. 76--9, effective April 1, 1976, im-
posing a moratorium on the issuance of building permits in
Westwood Community VI, Section 24, and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac and Leadership
Housing, Inc. have reached agreement for the correction
of the drainage deficiencies in said Section 24, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council
to release the moratorium and permit Leadership Housing,Inc.
to correct the drainage facilities and to continue construction
of homes in said section.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 76-9 be
and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon filing of certifications with the
City Clerk by the City Attorney and City Engineer that the
work has been commenced and the bond requirement has been
met.

REPEAL OF ORDINANCE #76-9 BY ORDINANCE #76-28
ADOPTED JUNE 141, 1976.
Pursuant to the directions of City Council, June
1411 1976, that the above referred ordinance #76-28 repealing
Ordinance #76-9, dated April 1, 1976, that ordinance #76-28
would become effective upon certification by the City Engineer
that Leadership Housing, Inc. has commenced construction of
the drainage augmentation for Westwood Six together with the
certification of the City Attorney that the subdivision improve-
ment surety bond was satisfactory in form and content to
adequately protect the City for said drainage augmentation.
We, John S. Freel, City Engineer, and William M.
Gemmill, City Attorney, hereby certify that the drainage
augmentation has commenced and the subdivision improvement
surety bond is proper in form and content to protect the
interests of the City of Tamarac.
