CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 76-30
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20--19 OF
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC BY SUB-
STITUTING THERETO A NEW SUB -SECTION (a)
FORM GENERALLY OF FINAL PLAT; AND (b)
DESCRIPTION; SETTING FORTH ADDITIONAL
REQUIREMENTS TO INCLUDE IN PLAT LEGENDS
PRIOR TO FINAL SUBMISSION; PROVIDING A
SAVINGS CLAUSE; REPEALING ALL LAWS IN
CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 163, Part II of the Florida Statutes and
Ordinances 1-64 71-33 and 72-6 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Tamarac, Florida, have empowered the Planning Commission
of the City of Tamarac, Florida, with the responsibility to review
and maintain minimum development standards and subdivision regulations
within Tamarac's jurisdiction, and
WIIE.REAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
has determined after extensive investigation that it is in the best
interest of the City to amend Ordinance Nos. 71-33 and 72-14, the
same being Chapter 20, Article II, Division 4- Final Plats, Section
20-19 of the Tamarac City Code, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac is desirous
of implementing the aforesaid objectives.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Chapter 20, Article II, Division 4- Final Plats
is hereby amended by deleting sub -section (2) and substituting thereto
the following:
(a) FORM GENERALLY: The final plat tracing, drawn
on 24" x 36" linen or dimensionally stable plastic
film with borders, shall be submitted as required
by Broward County and shall be prepared in accor-
dance with the State platting law, (Chapter 177)
and shall bear the surveyor's seal, registration
number and a legend on the first sheet, as follows:

I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THIS PLAT IS A TRUE AND
CORRECT REPRESENTATION OF THE LAND SURVEYED AND DES-
CRIBED HEREIN, AND THAT THE SURVEY COMPLIES WITH ALL

THE REQUIREMENTS OF F.S. 163 PART 2; F.S. 177,
AND ALL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, APPLI-
CABLE TO SURVEY DATA REQUIREMENTS ON PLATS, AND
THAT I AM A PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYOR IN THE STATE
OF FLORIDA, REGISTRATION NO. , AND THAT THE
P.R.M.'S WILL BE SET PRIOR TO RECORDING OF THIS PLAT:
THE P.C.P.'S AS SHOWN HEREIN TO BE SET PRIOR TO ONE
(1) YEAR OF RECORDING OF THIS PLAT.
(b) DESCRIPTION: The acreage of the area included
shall be shown on a prominent and easily dis-
cernible place on the first sheet.
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or
any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a
Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof
other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 3:
All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict here-
with be and the same are hereby repealed, as of the effective date of
this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its final passage.

PASSED SECOND READING this 7th day of July, 1976.
