HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity of Tamarac Ordinance O-1976-045Introduced by: o Proposed by: q YY1 CaA 1 Ll CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA ORDINANCE NO . _Z6- '-5 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTIAN REAL PROPERTY FROM R 1B to A-5; PROVIDING FOR AMEND- MENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the zoning of the property described herein, and the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been, heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac, and WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition No. 12-Z-76 by the City Council pursuant to the Charter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SECTION l: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from R-IB classification to A--5 classification. SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning, said change to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its final passage. PASSED FIRST READING this e�3 day of �e ��,� 1976. There will be no extension of operations except upon meeting standards which will be promulgated by the City Engineer and that the continuation of operations within a certain period of time will also meet standards to be promulgated by City Engineer to provide safety of operations. 2. A site plan is to be submitted to the City Engineer to enable him to develop standards of operation to insure safety. 3. The plat requirement is waived.
