CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 16
AN ORDINANCE MENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANNCES;
PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM I-1 TO R-3;
PROVIDING FOR AMEK9,0q ' OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the
City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with
the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the
zoning of the property described herein, and the said public hearing has
been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been given an
opportunity to be, and has been, heard; and the Council has examined and
investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received the
reccemendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition No. 19-Z-76
by the City Council pursuant to the Charter.
NOW, MMETnRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby rezoned from I-1 classification
to Ri3 classification.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac
shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning, said change to be
initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date
of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective ten__(10) days after._
its final passage-, and subject to the receipt and recordation of a covenant
restricting residency to adults and a covenant restricting maximum building
height to two (2) stories.

the Public Records of Palri Beach County, Florida, being more particularly
described as follows:
Comr,iencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 5; thence S 00'06' 44" E,
along the West line of said Section 5, a distance of 207.82 feet; thence
S 89°33' 36" E, parallel with and 286.00 feet South of, as measured at
right angles to the South Right -of --Jay line of Central and Southern Florida
Flood Control District's Canal C--14, a distance of 274.23 feet to the Point
of Beginning of this description; thence continue S 89'33' 36" E, along the
last described course, a distance of 765.09 feet; said point also being oa

4747, Page 184, of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida; thence
S 00'=00' 32" W, along the Westerly Right -of -Way line of said Nob hill Road,
a distance of 350.40 feet to the Point of Curvature of a circular curve to
the right; thence Southerly and Westerly, along the are of said curve, said arc
also being the Westerly Right--of-Clay line of said Nob Hill Road, having a
radius of 1147.00 feet, an arc distance of 1031.99 feet; thence N 38'26' 26" W,
a distance of 529.94 feet; thence 14 00"06' 44" 1.1, parallel with and 274.22 feet
East of, as measured at right angles to the Jest line of said Section 6, a
distance of 839.41 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Said lands situate lying and being in Broward County, Florida.
