CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. _! ( - ua
AN ORDINANCE A21ENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES;
PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM S-1 TO R-3;
PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN OaIULICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the
City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with
the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the
zoning of the property described herein, and the said public hearing has
been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been given an
opportunity to be, and has been, heard; and the Council has examined and
investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received the
recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition No. 36-Z-76
by the City Council pursuant to the Charter.
NOW, ARE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby rezoned from S-1 classification
to R-3 classification.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac
shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning, said change to be
initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date
of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall become effective irnnediately upon
itits final passage.

DESCRIPTION: TRACT 35
A portion of Tracts 23 and 24 of the FLORIDA FRUIT LANDS COMPANY
SUBDIVISION NO. 2 of Section 5, Township 49 South, Range 41 Fast,
as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 102, of the Public Records of
Palm Beach County, Florida, being more particularly described
as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Section 5, thence
N 000 06' 44" W, along the West line of said Section 5, a distance
of 2510.67 feet; thence N 80111' 57" E, a distance of 110.08 feet
to the Point of Beginning of this Description, thence continuing
N 800 11' 57" E, a distance of 389.12 feet, thence N 0012' 12" W,
a distance of 873.01 feet; thence S 75°45' 15" W, a distance of
129.50 feet to a Point of Curvature, thence Westerly along the arc
of a circular curve to the left, having a radius of 1680.00 feet an
arc distance of 168.66 feet; thence S 00°06' 44" E, a distance of
869.03 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Said lands situate, lying and being in Broward County, Florida.
