CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 7Gp 8
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES;
PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM S-1 TO R-3;
PROVIDING FOR AMELVDItiE T OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN cwRiCT HEREWITH.
WIiEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the
City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with
the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the
zoning of the property described herein, and the said public hearing has
been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been given an
opportunity to be, and has been, heard; and the Council has examined and
investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received the
recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac, and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition No. 37-Z-76
by the City Council pursuant to the Charter.
NOW, AFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby rezoned from S--1 classification
to R-3 classification.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac
shall be changed to reflect this change of zoning, said change to be
initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date
of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTIQI 4: This Ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days after
its final passage., and subject to the receipt and recordation of a covenant
restricting maximum height to two (2) stories.

A portion. of Section 6, Township 49 South, Range 41 East, Broward County
Florida, being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 6; thence S-87¢ 05' 27" -F.,
along the North Line. of said Section 6, a distance of 925.31 feet; thence
S-15' 01' 02" -- E, a distance of 1624.70 feet to the Point of Beginning of
this description; thence continue S-15°01' 02" - E, a distance of 71.34 feet
to a Point of Curve; thence Southerly and Easterly, along the are of a cir-
cular curve to the left, having a radius. of 260.00 feet, an are distance of
377.87 feet to a Point of Tangency; thence N -810 42' 41" - E, a distance of
42.64 feet to a Point of Curve; thence Easterly along the arc of a circular
curve to the right, having a radius of 400.00 feet, an arc distance of 222.51
feet; thence N-22° 22' 19" - E, a distance of 410.16 feet to an intersection
with the are of a circular curve to the left, having a radius of 1160.00 feet,
and whose radius point beans S- 10'39' 37" - W. from the last described point;
thence Westerly, along the arc of said curve,- an arc distance of 742.22 feet
to the Paint of Beginning. Said lands situate, lying and being in Broward
County, Florida.
Subject to: A 20.0 -foot Utility'and Drainage Easement along all Boundaries,
said Easements also being for Canal maintenance on douadaries along Canals.
