CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 'I L�
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 73-36,
SECTION 7, PARAGRAPH A, PROVIDING FOR A
REVISED SCH DU.LE OF MAXIMUM RATES; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CUFLICT, PROVIDING EFFECTIVE
DATES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTICN 1: Section 7, paragraph A of Ordinance No. 73-36 shall
be amended to read as follows:
"A. REVISED SC1DULE OF MAXIMUM RATES. The following rates
and charges are hereby authorized for service under this
franchise, and shall not be changed without prior approval
of the Council.
1. Service Connection Charges
a. Standard: Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per
residential dwelling unit. This charge
shall include a second outlet, provided
said second outlet is:
(1). installed at the time of the first
outlet connection, and
(2). not extraordinary.
b. Extraordinary: Installation in structures
which require special engineering or materials --
including certain multiple dwelling units,
commercial buildings, trailer parks, hotels,
motels, rest homes, hospitals and other like
structures; as well as certain additional
outlets, relocations, concealed wiring and
custom wiring -- Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per
man hour, including materials.
2. Any Reconnection - Ten Dollars ($10.00) per
subscribers
3. Service Deposit - Fifteen Dollars ($15.00).
Deposit is refundable with 6 per cent annual
accrued interest upon termination of service
in good standing.
4. Monthly Rates
a. First outlet with standard channel selector
provided and maintained by Grantee: Seven
Dollars ($7.00).
b. Additional outlets with standard channel
selector provided and maintained by Grantee:
Two Dollars ($2.00).

c. Optional channel selectors may be leased
at the following additional rates:
(1). Deluxe - $1.50.
(2). Decorator - $2.50.
These revised maximum charges shall remain in effect until
modification by the City. In reviewing applications for rate increases,
the Council may consider fluctuations in the cost of living index.
SECTION 2: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: Section 1 of this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
