CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
73-60, THE SAME BEING SECTION 28-198
OF THE TAMARAC CITY CODE PROVIDING
FOR THE SUBMISSION OF A CONCEPT SITE
PLAN CONCURRENT WITH AN APPLICATION
FOR APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL EXCEPTION;
REPEALING ALL LAWS IN CONFLICT,
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVID-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, has determined upon investigation and inquiry that the
requirement for a site plan concurrent with application for approval
of a special exception is unduely burdensome upon the applicant; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, upon investigation and inquiry has determined that the
concept site plan requirements of Ordinance No. 75-3 provide sufficient
data for evaluation;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That Ordinance No. 73--60, the same being
Section 28-198 of the Tamarac City Code is amended to read as
follows:
"Section 28-198. Concept Site Plan Requirements.
Each application for approval for a special
exception shall be accompanied by a concept
site plan meeting the requirments of Ordinance
No. 75-3 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Tamarac, Florida, and such other information
as may be required for a determination of the
nature of the proposed use and its effect on
the comprehensive development plan, the neigh-
borhood and surrounding properties."
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances and
all sections of the Tamarac City Code or part thereof in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: Should any section of this ordinance or
any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision

shall not effect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole
or any part hereof other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 4: This ordinance becomes effective immediately
upon its final passage.
