CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20-5 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA; PRO-
VIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN FILING AND CHECKING
FEES FOR THE PRELIMINARY PLAT AND SUBSEQUENT
FINAL PLAT; REPEALING ALL LAWS IN CONFLICT;
CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac,
Florida has requested that the staff investigate the minimum plat
filing and checking fee requirements and,
WHEREAS, said Planning Commission has furthur determined
that it is in the best interest in the City of Tamarac to increase
the minimum plat filing and checking fee requirements,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
is desirous of implementing the objective aforesaid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1
20-5 Plat Filing and Checking Fee, is hereby
amended by deleting all of Section 20-5 and by substituting therefore,
the following:
SECTION 20-5, Plat Filing and Checking Fee
The filing and checking fees for a preliminary and
subsequent final plat, shall be determined by the
following schedule:
TYPE OF DEVELOPMENT
SINGLE FAMILY & DUPLEX
ALL OTHERS
FILING FEE
CHECKING FEE
$75.00 I $ 3.50 for each lot
Minimum Fee $100.00
$75.00
$10.00 per acre for the
first 100 acres
$ 5.00 per acre for all
acres over 100
Minimum Fee $100.00

SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall become effective immedi-
ately upon its final passage, and approval by the City Council.
