AN ORDINANCE AMMING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES,
PROVIDING FUR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM S--1 to R-3u(IESCRIBEH AS BEING
A PORTION OF GOLF COURSE ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHEAST
TIP OF WOODMONT TRACT 48'SITUATED NORTH OF NGI
81st STREET AND EAST OF NW 88th AVENUE
PROVIDING FOR AMkNLMT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AR EFFECTIVE DATE.
If
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Covnci.l of
the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with
the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the zoning
of the property described herein and the said public hearing has been held in
accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be,
and has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request
for the zoning herein and has received the reeonmendation of the Plarming Conn--
ission of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held an Petition #25-Z-79 by
the City Council, pursuant to the Clarter.
NOW, TI [ EREFORE , BE IT ORa4JMD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC ,
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from S-1 to R-3U.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac
shall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed by the
Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or any
portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of com-
petent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as a whale or any part hereof, other than the part declared to
I be invalid.
