G / AN ORDINANCE ANMDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL pWpF,M F M S-1 to R-1C (I 'SCRIBER AS BEING A PORTION OF GOLF COURSE ADJACENT TO THE NORTHERN EDGE OF WOODMONT TRACT 50 SITUATED SOUTH OF SOUTHGATE BOULEVARD BETWEEN UNIVERSARY DRIVE AND NW 88 AVENUE ) PROVIDING FOR AMUMU OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE,; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY: PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the zoning of the property described herein and the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the Planning Conn- ission of the City of Tamarac; and WHEREAS, public hearing has been held an Petition #27-Z-79 by the City Council, pursuant to the Charter. NOW, 'I1iEREFORE, BE IT OMkINED BY ME COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, 01 13 0 SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from S-1 to R-1C. SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTICN 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of coir petent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
