Dry cleaning establishments, for direct customer
services. This may create fire hazards and great
odor pollution. Accordingly, this use is permitted
by special exception in B-1, B-2 and B-3 districts.
In addition to other mquirernents, the following
criteria trust be met:
(1) No vehicular pickup or delivery services.
(2) Customers shall bring in and pick up all
articles and there shall',k no wholesale work
allowed.
(3) Not more than one cleaning unit of a rated
Capacity of forty (40) pounds shall be allowed.
(4) The entire dry cleaning process shall use
completely enclosed solvent, reclaiming units
(nonexplosive and nonflammable), with s

(5) The venting of the boiler must be extended so
any discharge will not be offensive so the
surrounding neighborhood.
(6) All solvents used shall be nonflammable.
(7) The establishment shall be at Isast one
hundred (100) feet from the nearest residence
measured in a straight line from the oaarest

separated by a road between the vent or stack
and the nearest residence.

(1) All high-pressure boilers operating over fifteen
(15) pounds per square inch, rated at more
than three (3) boiler horsepower, shall be
enclosed in a noncombustible boiler room or
enclosure as specified in the South Florida
Building Code.
(2) Each dryer shall be equipped with its own
lint screen with automatic shutoff.

parking and. other regulations, ach drive-in
Window must' have stacking capability of one
hundred 000) feet minimum. 'P,ltrthermore, if tht
drive-in order is given at one -location and is
picked up at another location, there must be
stacking facilities of one hundred 600) feet
minimum both at the order point and the point of
Pickup. The drive-in facility's stacking must be
self-contained and may not spill over to disrupt in
any way customers seeking to park their cars or
disrupt the flow of traffic on public rights -of -way.

all of the following criteria are satisfied:
(1) The school does not occupy more than
2,000 sq. ft. of gross floor area; and
(2) A11 activities are conducted indoors; and'
(3) Hours are to be limited in order to be
compatible with neighboring establish-
ments; and
(4) The sdbool shall not generate noises which
may be heard outside; •qf, the establishment;
and .
(5) The proposed school is compatible with
neighboring establishments; -and
(6) Such other reasonable conditions as the
City Council may require to protect the
public health, safety and welfare.

4 No building or structure, or part thereof, shall be erected, altered;
5 or used, or land or water used, in whole or in part, for other than:

3.3 (2) Residential dwelling with a minimum of seven hundred fifty (750)

SECTION 8: Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared
by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other
than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 9: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its final
passage.
