O-70-,1131 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING STOPPING, STANDING, OR PARKING MOTOR VEHICLES IN SPECIFIED PLACES NOT COVERED IN THE FLORIDA UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL LAW; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1:- STOPPING, STANDING, OR PARKING PROHIBITED IN SPECIFIED SwIS441a (1) It shall be a violation of this ordinance for any person to stop, stand, or park a vehicle except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the direction of a police officer or traffic control device, in any of the following places: - (a) In or upon any private alley, drive, driveway, parking area or other privately owned property without the consent of the owner of the property or person in charge thereof whether such property is used exclusively by the owner or for the use and convenience of customers or guests. SECTION 2: Specific authority is hereby granted to codify this ordinance. SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 4: Should any sectionor provision of this ordinance or or_pprtion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision, shall affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than the part declared to be invalid. SECTION 5: This ordinance shall become effective upon its final passage.
