No. 694 12/4/79 Item No. 9 CITY OF TAMARA,C, FLORIDA ORDINANCE NO.�1_ AN ORDINANCE AMEN -DING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES, PRmVIDING FOR TLiE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PIRDPERTY FR M S-1 to R-IC (IESCRIBED AS BEING A PORTION OF GOLF COURSE ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHEAST BOUNDARIES OF WOODMONT TRACT 50 SITUATED SOUTH OF SOUTHGATE BOULEVARD BETWEEN UNIVERSITY DRIVE AND NW 88th AVENUE) PROVIDING FOR AM1'T OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE.; PIRDVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PR DVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the zoning of the property described herein and the said public hearing has been held in - accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request' for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the Planning Cmm- ission of the City of Tamarac; and WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition #28-Z-79 the City Council, pursuant to the Charter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDLINEED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, S-F:C'TMON 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A' attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from S-1 to R-1c. SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac shall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
