AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES,
PROVIDING FOR ME REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM R-3U to 5-1(DESCRIBED AS BEING
THE SOUTHERN EDGE OF WOODMONT TRACT 48
SITUATED NORTH OF NORTHWEST 81st STREET AND
EAST OF NORTHWEST 88th AVENUE )
PROVIDING FOR AMUM OF THE OFFICIAL ZCNING
MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANGE; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of
the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with
the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the zoning
of the property described herein and the said public hearing has been held in -
accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be,
and has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request'
for the zoning herein and has received the reconnendation of the Planning Cann-
ission of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition #36-Z-79 by
the City Council, pursuant to the Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORnkINED BY U E ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from R-3U to S-1.
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tamarac
shall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed by the
Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or any
portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of cam-
petent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared t(
be invalid.
