AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES,
PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FpOM R-1B to S- I(DESCRIBED AS BEING
CAPORELLA PARK LOCATED ON EAST SIDE OF
PROSPECT ROAD 300 FEET NORTH OF COMMERCIAL
BLVD. EXTENDING NORTH 700 FEET
PROVIDING FOR AMUENT OF THE OFFICI& ZC NING
MAP TO REFLECT SUCH CHANCE; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY: PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of
the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in accordance with
the applicable law of the time and place of public hearing regarding the zoning
of the property described herein and the said public hearing has been held in
accordance with the notice and the public has been given an opportunity to be,
and has been heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request
for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the Planning Camr
ission of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition 9-z-80 by
the City Council, pursuant to the Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF ME CITY OF TAMARAC,
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof are hereby rezoned from R-1B to S-1
SECTION 2: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Ta tirac
shall be changed to reflect in the zoning, said changes to be initialed by the
Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or any
portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of com-
petent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared
be invalid.

SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon: its final passage.

The south one-half (1/2) of the northwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of the northeast quarter, together with the north half
of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of the northeast
quarter of Section 17, Township 49, Range 42 east, Broward County,
Florida, less the west SO feet thereof.
Subject to conditions, restrictions, limitations and easements
of record, if any.
( Otherwise identified as being those lands on the east
side of Prospect Road approximately 300 feet north of
Commercial Blvd. and extending northward for
approximately 700 feet.)
These changes are proposed pursuant to the adoption of the
Land Use Element of the City of Tamarac Comprehensive Plan
on November 13,1979.
