CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-10 OF THE TAMARAC CITY
CODE ESTABLISHING CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT BOUNDARIES BY
DELETING FROM THE CODIFIED CITY CODE DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
AND BY NOTING THAT THE BOUNDARIES ARE SET BY ORDINANCE
AND A MAP IS KEPT ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY
CLERK; PROVIDIW FOR SEVERABILITY OF INVALID PROVISIONS;
AND PROVIDING AW EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION I: Section 2-10 of the Tamarac City Code is amended to
read as follows:
The council district boundaries of the City shall be determined
by ordinance adopted in accordance with the Charter of the City of Tamarac.
A copy of said ordinance and a map depicting, graphically, the various district
boundaries shall be kept in the official records of the City Clerk.
SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this ordinance
or_ any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared
by a court of competent ,jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other
than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be effective upon its final passage.
