CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 046 6 0
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-11 OF THE TAMARAC CITY CODE
PERTAINING TO REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO
CLARIFY THE FACT THAT REGULAR MEETINGS ARE NOT HELD IN THE
MONTH OF AUGUST; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING
REPEALER; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY: AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 2-11 of the Tamarac City.Code is amended to read
Sec. 2-11. Regular meetings
Regular meetings of the City Council shall be held on the 2nd and
4th Wednesday of each month,except during August, at 10:00 A.M. or at such other
time as the Mayor may direct upon reasonable notice. Should a regular meeting
date fall on a legal holiday, such meeting shall automatically be reset to
the following day.
SECTION 2: Specific authority is hereby granted to codify this
ordinance.
SECTION 3: All ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
. SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this ordinance or
any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a court of
competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than the part declared
to be invalid.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall become effective on its final
passage.
