AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 28-199(e) OF THE TAMARAC CITY
CODE PERTAINING TO FEES FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION APPROVAL BY PRO-
VIDING SAID FEES TO BE ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL AND BY ESTABLISHING A REQUIREMENT FOR A FEE FOR EXTEN-
SIONS PREVIOUSLY GRANTED BY SPECIAL EXCEPTION APPROVALS; PROVID-_-_
ING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING REPEALER.; PROVIRIK- F'OR

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: Section 28-199(e) of the Tamarac City Code is amended
by adding the words, numerals and punctuation underscored, and by deleting the
words, numerals and punctuation struck through as follows:
(e) Fee for Processing Applications; Reasonable Fee to
Cover the Costs of Publication:
All applications for approval of a special exception shall
be accompanied by a fee 04269799 in an amount determined b Resolution of the
City Council to cover all costs in processing such applications. In addition,
the applicant shall be responsible for the reasonable costs of publication in
connection with said applications for special exception. Furthermore, in the event
that it is necessary for the applicant to request an extension of the s ecial
exception approval, the.applicant shall pay an additional fee in an amount as
determined by Resolution of the City Council.

SECTION 2: Specific authority is hereby granted to co0ify
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by
a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect
the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall become effective upon its
final passage.
