CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE No. 0-87-- /0
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 0-86-49 PERTAINING TO THE CHARTER REVIEW
COMMITTEE; PROVIDING FOR AN EXTENSION OF
TIME TO PERFORM THE REQUIRED DUTIES;
PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATIION; PROVIDING FOR
REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 0-86--49 provided that the Charter
Review Committee shall make a final report to the City
Council on or by March 24, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Charter Review Committee has determined
that additional time is required to complete a review of the
City Charter; and
WHEREAS, the review of the City Charter is of great
importance to the City of Tamarac.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac deter-
mines that it is in the public interest to adopt the follow-
ing Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 6 of Ordinance No. 0--86-49 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 6: The Charter Review Committee
shall make a final report to the City
Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida on
or by 30 , 19 87 . "
SECTION 2: Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.

SECTION 4: If any provision of this Ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of this Ordinance that can be given affect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this end
the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be sever-
able.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon adoption and passage.
