ORDINANCE No. 0-87- �-:75
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 19--1.2(q) OF
THE TAMARAC CITY CODE REGARDING THE RETIRE-
MENT PLAN FOR CITY EMPLOYEES; PROVIDING FOR
AN ANNUAL BUDGET UNDER CERTAIN TERMS AIq-D
CONDITIONS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATIOP,.;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY OF INVALID PRO-
VISIONS; PROVIDING A REPEALER; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to
Chapter 166, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac deter-
mines that it is in the public interest to adopt the follow-
ing Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Subsection 19-1.2(q) of the Tamarac
City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
(q) Annual Budget. For each fiscal year which shall
coincide with the Cit es fiscal year the administrative board
shall adopt an annual budget for the operating,
administrative and investment expenses of the retirement
plan. The budget shall not exceed <vxae-4;. ,A two (2 ) percent
of the present market value of the retirement plan invest-
ments calculated at <a-specific_datQ_d�rir�g-t}ie-}Qat-quarter
e€--lie-Peeedi�g--€ilea}-yea> the last day of the third
uarter of the recedin fiscal year. The annual budget

disbursement.

SECTION 2: Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 4: If any provision of this Ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of this Ordinance that can be given affect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this end
the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be sever-
able.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon adoption and passage.
