CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE No. 0-87- ,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC AMENDING
SECTION 2-9.1, POWER OF CITY TO ACQUIRE,
ETC., PROPERTY, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BY
THE DELETION OF SUBSECTION ONE (1) OF SAME;
PROVIDING FOR A REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to
Chapter 166, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac deter-
mines that it is in the public interest to adopt the follow-
ing Ordinance.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the
provisions of Code Section 2-9.1(1) restrain the City's
Administration from selling real property at the best price
possible and on terms most favorable to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 That Section 2-9.1, Power of City to
Acquire, etc., Property, shall be amended so as to delete
Subsection (1) of same.
SECTION 2 : All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 3 : If any provision of this Ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of this Ordinance that can be given affect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this end -
the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be sever-
able.

SECTION 4 : Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
SECTION 5 : This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon adoption and passage.
