SECTION 28-34(b) OF THE CITY OF�O ONE -FAMILY RAC CODE; AMENDING THE R-lB AND RrI DWELLING DISTRICTS TO ALLOW NON PROFIT GOVERNMENTAL SCHOOL AS A PERMITTED USE IN THE R-1B AND R-lC ONE -FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICTS; PROVIDING FOR pROVIDINGIIFOR PROVIDING FOR REPpROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE SEVERABILITY; AND DATE. WHEREAS, Article V, Section 28-34(b) of the City code of the City of Tamarac entitled R-lB and R-1C One -Family Dwelling Districts does not currently provide for non-profit governmental schools as a permitted use; and WHEREAS, non-profit governmental schools fall within the same guidelines as governmental buildings which are permitted uses within Chapter 28-34(b); and WHEREAS, non-profit governmental schools are consistent with the intended uses of Section 28-34 (b) of the Code of the City of Tamarac; and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to Chapter 166, Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac deter- mines that it is in the public interest to adopt the follow- ing Ordinance. SECTION 4 : If any Provision of this Ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this Ordinance that can be given affect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the Provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be seVer-' able.
