ORDINANCE NO. 0-88-
A ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA;
AMENDING CHAPTER 28, SECTION 28-25(b) OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR A REVISED
FEE SCHEDULE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION;
PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVER -
ABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac finds
it necessary and in the City's best interest to revise the
rezoning fee schedule;
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to
Chapter 166, Florida Statutes; Now Therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That Chapter 28, Section 28-25(b) of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Tamarac, is hereby amended
as follows:
Sec. 28--25. Same - Applications
Application for rezoning shall be made in the following
manner:
(b) Fee. Such applications shall be accompanied by a
fee of five
hundred dollars ($500.00) which shall not be
refundable. This fee shall be for the administra-
tive time which will be spent during consideration
of the rezoning. All costs for publications shall
also be paid by the applicant. There shall be no
fee for rezonings initiated by the city council or
planning commission.
SECTION 2 : Specific authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
SECTION 3 : All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 4 If any provision of this Ordinance or the

application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of this Ordinance that can be given affect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this end
the provisions of this Ordinance are declared to severable.
SECTION 5 This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon adoption and passage.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
I has conducted an investigation as to the costs of processing

applications for rezoning, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida
has conversed with the Zoning Cosmission with respect to said ,
application process and the costs thereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
has determined the necessity for revising the Fee Schedule applicable
to applications for rezoning,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
. SECTION 1: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 71-21 of the City
Of Tamarac, the same being Section 28-25(b) of Chapter 28 of the
Tamarac City Code, is hereby amended as follows:

Of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00), which
fee shall not be refundable,
_SECTION 2: Should any section or provision of this.
Ordinance or any portion hereof or any Paragraph, sentence or
word, be declared
by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be in-
valid, such decision shall not effect the validity of the rescinder
hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than the part declared
to be invalid.
SECTION 3•
This Ordinance becomes effective inediately
