AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR ZONING ORDINANCES
PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FROM B-6 (BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO B-2
(PLANNED BUSINESS) LANDS DESCRIBED AS PARCEL
"A", PORTOBELLO, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF,
AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 132, PAGE 43, OF THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, CON-
TAINING 4.489 ACRES, MORE OR LESS; OTHERWISE
IDENTIFIED AS BEING THOSE LANDS SITUATED AT THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF UNIVERSITY DRIVE AND NORTH-
WEST 82ND STREET; PETITION #1-Z-90; PROVIDING
FOR AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO
REFLECT SUCH CHANCE;,PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the instruction of the City Council of
the City of Tamarac, Florida, public notice has been given in
accordance with the applicable law of the time and place of public
hearing regarding the zoning of the property described herein and
the said public hearing has been held in accordance with the notice
and the public has been given an opportunity to be, and has been
heard; and the Council has examined and investigated the request
for the zoning herein and has received the recommendation of the
Planning Commission of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, public hearing has been held on Petition #1-Z-90 by
the City Council, pursuant to the Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That those lands described in Exhibit "A
attached hereto and made a part heregf are hereby rezoned from B-6
(Business District) to B-2 (Planned Business).
SECTION 2: That the official zoning map of the City of
Tamarac shall be changed to reflect such zoning, said changes to be
initialed by the Mayor and the City Clerk, together with the
effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repeal^: to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION 4: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance
or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence or word be
declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such
decisions shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as
a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be
invalid.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
