CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NO. 0— 94 - �4
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 88--33 BY
ESTABLISHING OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE TAX
CLASSIFICATIONS AND FEES FOR TIME SHARE
JOINT OWNERSHIP APARTMENT UNITS; PROVID-
ING FOR SEVERABILITY OF INVALID PROVISIONS;
PROVIDING REPEALER; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, Ordinance 88-33, Section 1, Schedule of License
Fees of the City of Tamarac, levies an occupational license
classification and fee on persons and entitles conduction
business or pursuing a profession in the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida has determined that a classification or Time Share
Joint Ownership Apartment Units and occupational license fees
should be established; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac deter-
mines that it is in the public interest to adopt the follow-
ing Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 Section I of Ordinance 88-33 is amended tc
read as follows:
Licenses shall be issued to cover only one location and
but one of the occupations of business classifications
hereinafter set out unless perinitted hereunder and the
amounts assessed as license fees against the various trades,
businesses and professions are hereby fixed as follows:

TIME SHARE BROKER
Each Real Estate Broker $200.00

SECTION 2 : Any and all owners, prior to issuance of a
local business license, must produce evidence of a bona fide
Lease Agreement, stating the exact number of weeks units will
be leased.
SECTION 3 All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 4 Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof, or any paragraph, sentence
or work be invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remainder hereof as a whole or any part
hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5 This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
