A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTIONFOR ON-PREMISES CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVER-
AGES AT CAFE CONTINENTAL (AS IT PRESENTLY EXISTS
AND MAY BE EXPANDED) IN 3 LAKES PLAZA AT 3150 W.
COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD REQUESTED BY ALFRED L.
COHEN; PETITION NO. 24-2-89 i AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the
grant.ing of a special exception to permit. the on-premises
consumption of alcoholic beverages on the premises at Cafe
Continental (as presently exists and may be expanded) in 3
Lakes Plaza at 3150 W. Commercial Boulevard, Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has hel-d a public
hearing thereon and has recommended approval of this
application; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public
has been given an opportunity to express their views concern-
ing the application for Special Exception; and
WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Tamarac finds that
the application for special exception would be in keeping with
the public health, safety and general welfare of the City of
Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC. FLORIDA;
SECTION 1: That the application for special exception
to permit the on-premises consumpt.ion of alcoholic beverages
at Cafe Continental (as it presently exists and may be
expanded) in 3 Lakes Plaza at 3150 W. Commercial Boulevard,
requested by Alfred L. Cohen, Petition No. 24-2-89 is hereby
approved.
