A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION TO
PERMIT THE OPERATION OF A HEALTH CLUB IN SHEPHARD
PLAZA, 7L42 NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE, TAMARAC, RE-
QUESTED BY SPA LADY OF SOUTH FLORIDA, INCORPORATED;PETITION #27-Z_89, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for
the granting of special exception to permit the operation of a
health club in Shephard Plaza, 7]-42 North University Drive,
Tamarac as requested by Spa Lady of South FLorida, Incorpor-
ated; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
meeting thereon and has recommended approval of this applica-
tion; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public
have been given an opportunity to express their views concern-
ing the application for special exceptioni and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that
the petition for special exception would be in keeping with the
public health, safety and general welfare of t.he City of
Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION,I : That t.he petition for special exception to
permit the operation of a heaLth club in Shephard Pl--aza, 7L42
North University Drive, Tamarac, requested by Spa Lady of Sout.h
Florida, Incorporated, is HEREBY APPROVED.
