RESOLUTION NO. R-89 _;"57
A RESOLUTTON OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, AMENDING
PRIOR RESOLUTION R-88-197 TO PROVIDE THAT THE
CITY PLANNER IS REQUIRED TO RESPOND IN
WRITING TO ALL LETTERS RECEIVED FROM THE
PUBLIC CONCERNTNG THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND
PROVIDE COPIES OF SUCH RESPONSES IN THE
ADOPTION PACKETS PROVIDED TO THE LOCAL
PLANNING AGENCY AND THE CITY COUNCIL; PROVID-
ING THAT ALL OTHER PROVISIONS OF PRIOR
RESOLUTION R-88-197 SHAI,L REMAIN IN FULL
FORCE AND EFFECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution R-88-197 on
June 22, 1988 which outlined the public participation process
for adoption of the City of Tamarac's Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the public
participation process to require that the City Planner
respond in writing to all letters received from the public
concerning the comprehensive plan and to require that copies
of all such letters and responses be provided in the adoption
package for the 1oca] planning agency and the City Council;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNC]L OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FI,ORIDA:
SECT N 1 : That Section 1 Paragraph 4 of Resolution
as follows:R-BB-197 is hereby amended to read
