A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION TO
PERMIT THE OPERAT]ON OF A DELICATESSEN IN COMMER-CIAL PLAZA SHOPPING CENTER AT 5355 - 5357 NORTH
STATE ROAD 7, TAMARAC, REQUESTED BY THE PALMS
INTERNATIONAL MARKET, PETITION #25-2-89 r AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for
the granting of special exception to permit the operation of
a delicatessen in Commercial P1-aza Shopping Center at 5355-
5357 North State Road 7, Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
hearing thereon and has recommended approval of this
application; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public
has been given an opportunity to express their views concern-
ing the application for special exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that
the petition for special excepLion would be in keeping with
the public health, safety and general welfare of the City of
Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTIONl: Thatthe petition for special exception to
a delicatessen in Commercial P:.aza
5357 NorLh State Road 7, Tamarac,
International Market, is HEREBY
EIggqI-_a : Conditions of approval:
The delicatessen must have an approved method of waste
collectj-on. The petitioner will provide a copy of the
contract from Southern Sanitation Service indicating
six collections per week.
A plan for control, reduction or elimination of offensive
odors is required- The petitioner has submitted such a
plan -
