AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
ENTITLED "FINANCE AND TAXATION" BY
ESTABLISHING IN SECTION 6-36(d) THE AMOUNT OF
FEE REFUNDS THAT CAN BE MADE ADMINISTRATIVELY
BY THE CITY MANAGER AT $1,000.00;. PROVIDING
FOR A MONTHLY WRITTEN REPORT BY THE CITY
MANAGER AS TO SAID REFUNDS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac
determines that it is in the public interest to adopt the
following Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: .That Section 6-36(d) of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Tamarac entitled "Minor Refunds" is
hereby amended as follows:
Sec. 6-36(d). Minor refunds.
(d) Notwithstanding any other provisions in this
section, the city manager is authorized to adminis-
tratively approve refunds for moneys erroneously
collected or which otherwise are due; but this
authority shall not exceed a refund in the amount
of one thousand dollars
($1,000) If the city manager denies a request
for a refund for adjustment, the individual denied
may appeal to the city council, following the
refund procedures set forth under subsections (a),
(b) and (c) of this section. The city_ manager is
required to submit a monthlv written report to the
council o city council advisingthe ilf the date, the

amount and the recipient of each refund.
