The purpose of this meeting is that the City Attorney desires advice concerning litigation regarding the following two lawsuits: B. Commercial, Inc., a Florida corporation, Tamarac Main Street land, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, Wen -North Holdings, Inc., a Florida corporation, M&M South Properties, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, Active Senior Living Residence, Inc., a Florida corporation, and Sultan Family Ltd. Partnership, a Florida limited partnership v. City of Tamarac, Florida, a municipality of the State of Florida, (Case No. 0725250 02), and Cinnamon Tree Plaza, Inc., a Florida corporation v. City of Tamarac, Florida, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida, (Case No. 07025413 04). CITY OF TAMARAC NOTICE OF ATTORNEY -CLIENT SESSION Pursuant to Florida Statutes 286.011(8)(2005), there will be an attorney -client session concerning B. Commercial, Inc., a Florida corporation, et al., v. City of Tamarac, Florida, a municipality of the State of Florida, (Case No. 0725250 02); and Cinnamon Tree Plaza, Inc., a Florida corporation v. City of Tamarac, Florida, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida, (Case No. 07025413 04), at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2007, in Room 105, Tamarac City Hall, 7525 NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac, FL, attended by Mayor Beth Flansbaum-Talabisco, Vice Mayor Marc L. Sultanof, Commissioner Edward C. Portner, Commissioner Patte Atkins -Grad, Commissioner Harry Dressler, City Attorney Samuel S. Goren and/or Assistant City Attorney Mike Cirullo, Ed Dion, Esq. and Greg Stewart, Esq., Special Counsel, Nabors Giblin & Nickerson, and City Manager Jeffrey L. Miller. October 16, 2007 Page 1 of 2 The special meeting of the City Commission will be recessed for this session. These officials shall meet in private for approximately one-half hour. At the conclusion of the attorney -client session, the special City Commission meeting will be reconvened. In the event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available to the public at the City Commission meeting. Pursuant to Chapter 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
