COMMITTEE MEETING
REGARDING THE MUNICIPAL COMPLEX
Available City Council members will have a'Committee Meeting
with the City staff, a representative of the Planning Commission
and Miller & Meier Architects regarding the plans for the Muni-
cipal Complex on Tuesday, July 16, 1985 at 1:00 P.M. in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, 5811 NW 88 Avenue.
1. Discussion of Site Plan Merits - Scheme C
2. City Hall Complex - Reducing building size
to original 36,000 sq. ft. - functional
relationship
3. Auditorium
4. Police Department Discussion
a. Communications system
b. Size of building
5. Next Meeting With Architects
Before August Recess
This meeting will be open to the public in full compliance with
the Sunshine Law.

- Reception area in.the center of entrance and_accept.utility.

-- On first floor - Personnel Department, Buildings & Community
Development Department, Engineering Department.
- The center area (area planned for atrium) could be utilized
as a Xerox -copy machine area for all offices.
- Need for large freight elevator at back of building.
- City Clerk's Office on first floor next to Council Chambers.
- Rest facilities should be brought inside
- Occupational Licensing should be on first floor
Charter Board should be upstairs as well.
- Council agrees on outline on Revised Site Plan - Scheme C
