HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-08-29 - City Commission Public Hearing Meeting Minutes4 CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PROPOSED USE HEARING 1980/81 REVENUE SHARING FUNDS The City Manager of Tamarac, Florida, will hold a meeting at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 19, 1980, in City Hall, 5811 N.W. 88th Avenue, to discuss proposed uses for revenue sharing funds, in the amount of anticipated available funds of $103,000.00, to be received by the City of Tamarac for the 12th entitlement period. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for public participation and input as to suggested uses of the monies to be received from the Federal Government through the Federal Revenue Sharing Program for the period beginning October 1, 1980, to September 30, 1981. Gross, City Manager Mayor Falck C/M Disraelly ALSO PRESENT: M. Bertholf, City Clerk The City M an ager indicated that this was the Proposed Use Hearing on Federal Revenue Sharing Funds which is required by the Federal Government in order to receive the federal funds. H said the anticipated amount of funds available to the City of Tamarac for the twelfth entitlement period to be $103,000.00. The City Manager mentioned that the purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for Public Participation and input as to suggested uses of the monies we receive from the Federal Government to the Federal Revenue Sharing Program beginning October 1st, 1980 until September 30th, 1981. Mr. Gross further indicated that Notice was placed in the Ft. Lauderdale News and advertised on August 4th and 12th as required; certified copy of the advertisement is placed in the file from the Ft. Lauderdale News. Mr. Gross asked if anybody from the Public wished to make any statements as to Federal Revenue Sharing. Mr. Gross asked a second time if anyone from the Public wanted to make any statements on Revenue Sharing. Since there was no input from the Public as to how to spend the Revenue Sharing Funds, Mr. Gross closed the Public Hearing.
